🦇 Today our Kindergarten classroom turned into a real bat cave! Students explored bats through cross-curricular activities — using highlighters as glow markers for sequencing, reading by flashlight in the “cave,” and enjoying hands-on science, math, and literacy challenges. What a fun (and glowing!) way to enjoy learning together. 🦇

Report cards are now available on FOCUS for the first quarter. Please check them and contact your child's teacher(s) with any questions or concerns. 🩷

Spooky Bedtime Stories Weaves Music and Literacy Together
The sounds of music and the spirit of Autumn filled the Gulf Breeze Elementary Cafeteria on October 15, 2025, as our first-grade class performed their show, "Spooky Bedtime Stories."
This cross-curricular production was a powerful demonstration of how music and literacy successfully intersect. Students not only learned to sing and dance to pieces like "One Little Pumpkin," "Dem Bones," and "Pumpkin Bones," but also developed key memorization and public speaking skills through spoken pieces like the poem "5 Little Pumpkins." The students' commitment and energy made the performance a glowing success for all involved.
