Do you wish to be a volunteer at GBE (or other schools) for the 2025-2026 school year? Guess what? SRCDS is now accepting Level 1 Volunteer applications so you can check that off your list now!

Level 1 Volunteer Applications are being accepted for NEXT YEAR! Yep, that’s right, you can knock this out now instead of rushing to get it done at the beginning of the year!
The application is the same as last year. It’s available on the district website https://www.santarosaschools.org/page/volunteer-information.
Instructions:
Download the PDF file (the file cannot be saved properly if filled out in the browser).
Open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Fill out all pages of the form.
Save it.
Either print the number of copies needed and submit it to the front office at selected school(s) OR… send it as an email attachment to the selected school(s).
If you wish to become a Level 2 volunteer you must first be a board approved Level 1 volunteer. Level 2 applications must be picked up from the school site.

Heartfelt thanks to GULF BREEZE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH and BLOOM FLOWERS & GIFT SHOP for their generosity and kindness. GBUMC provided the perfect venue for our fifth grade promotion ceremony yesterday. We had lovely blue and gold flowers donated by BLOOM! Thank you so much for supporting our school and our community. It's one of the things that makes Gulf Breeze such a special place!

GBE Families... This workshop will be held both in person and virtually August 4-5 for PARENTS! This is a great opportunity to help parents of children with disabilities prepare for the school year. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to share some words of encouragement and to be role models for elementary school students! Hearing from our GBE alumni helps us to be hopeful about our future… You are scholars, athletes, and all-around kind/great people! We will be rooting for you as you play volleyball for USC and SMU!
GBE had two winners for the Greater Coast Arts Festival for next year's festival. Hazel P. won the Chairmans Choice Award and Hazel V. won Honorable mention :)
Mrs. Lombardo's class read with Ms. Ix’s Kindergarteners! What’s even more exciting was some of the independent kindergarten readers stepped up to share their reading skills with the second graders!
Reminder, no school on Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day. Last day of school is Thursday, May 29. It is an early release day.
