We had a blast at the Dolphin Olympics today for our K–3 students! 🐬🏅 A huge thank you to Coach Nic, Coach Rinker, and Coach H for all of their hard work planning such a fun and engaging event for our students. We also appreciate our amazing volunteers and PTA for helping the stations run smoothly throughout the day. Students had a great time, and we even had a special guest visitor - Chief Hawthorne from the Gulf Breeze Police Department! Our very own Officer Tai faced off against him in tug-of-war… and Officer Tai took the win! 💪🚔🥇 We’re ready for another fun day tomorrow! The weather has moved out and should be clear for 4th and 5th grade from 8:50–11:30. Let’s go, Dolphins! 🐬

Dolphin Olympics Days are this week! 🏅🐬 Our track and field days are packed with fun, teamwork, and lots of movement! We can’t wait to see our Dolphins in action. Please be sure your child dresses appropriately for the day — tennis shoes are a must! Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat if they’d like. Let the games begin!

It’s Numeracy Week at GBE! 🔢 During the week of March 9-13, we’re celebrating numeracy across Santa Rosa County and right here at Gulf Breeze Elementary! We’re excited to see students engaged in hands-on math activities and making learning come to life in fun and meaningful ways. Happy Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day! 🛠️ We are so grateful for the dedicated maintenance team that keeps our school running smoothly each and every day. Congratulations to Mrs. Weaver, 5th grade teacher, on being a Sims Orthodontics Teacher Wishlist recipient! Mrs. Weaver looks forward to purchasing additional mobile whiteboards for her students! We appreciate Sims Orthodontics for their support of our students, staff, and school community!

Our Pre-K Dolphins had some hands-on fun in the classroom this week! 🧈✨ Students learned how butter is made and watched it transform right before their eyes. After all their hard work, they even got to enjoy a little taste test! 😋

As we near PM3 testing, we want to remind you of these important reminders about technology. 🚨 No smartphones/cell phones, smart glasses, wireless headphones, smart watches, etc. Even if these are OFF, they are not permitted during testing.
